I intend to purchase an AIO for a system that will also run Linux in dual boot. As CAM is not available for Linux, i have been looking at 3rd party options such as https://github.com/liquidctl/liquidctl for controlling the AIO on Linux systems. Support for the 2023 models is still a work in progress however. I'm not sure what will happen to my AIO if I run linux without CAM or other software configured.
EDIT - Additional Info: I do usually use third-party RGB controller software to modify the backlights, I didn't realise how limited the vanilla Ducky software is in customisability when I bought the keyboard, so I use Aurora RGB for this https://www.project-aurora.com
I guessing it needs to be put into a state todo this? The program https://github.com/Sapd/HeadsetControl can query the state of the Game/Chat mix dial. I pretty much just use this dial for Discord, so at minimum I want to have it so using the Game/Chat mix dial changes the volume of the Discord application. Ideal would be having a virtual sound that gets mixed back into the sound output.
Though instead of paying for Corsair's stuff, it's possible to spoof it with an Arduino.
I haven't done it myself, but there is a plugin you needed to interface with a commander pro. I recall others on here have had success using it, so hopefully that works for you (if you weren't already using that).
