I intend to purchase an AIO for a system that will also run Linux in dual boot. As CAM is not available for Linux, i have been looking at 3rd party options such as https://github.com/liquidctl/liquidctl for controlling the AIO on Linux systems. Support for the 2023 models is still a work in progress however. I'm not sure what will happen to my AIO if I run linux without CAM or other software configured.
Project mention: Tutorial on how to increase your ping artificially the "right" way | /r/GlobalOffensive | 2023-12-11From what i can find googling around i can see the RT-AX82U is supported by the AsusWRT Merlin firmware which is an alternative to the original router's firmware. Although the firmware for your particular router is not on the main page i did manage to find a fork of the firmware which specifies your model as supported: https://github.com/gnuton/asuswrt-merlin.ng/releases . That way you can access it from SSH and use the linux commands to add latency. Keep in mind that it depends on the processor your Router uses, it requires MIPS architecture which most likely your Router has :-)
You can use https://github.com/tshakalekholoane/bat to set the threshold via cli. If you use GNOME you can instead use this https://github.com/maniacx/Battery-Health-Charging/ shell extension.

Project mention: Infrequent screen flickering when bowsing in Ventura. | Dell Precision 5520, Intel core i7 6820HQ, Intel HD 530 graphics. | /r/hackintosh | 2023-12-06I have looked around for a while trying to find similar issues but wanted to ask here for your input. Found this guide on somthing that sound similar to my issues on this GIT thread. However i was unsure if it was the same, here is a link to a video of the flickering
I'm having a slight suspicion that it might be Universal x86 Tuning Utility, so I've opened an issue with them.
