The swagger-jsdoc package enables us to do this. It looks for JSDoc comments in code (annotated with an @openapi tag) to generate the OpenAPI specification.

You and me both. I actually actively block ads on the Internet except on the very few sites that have earned my trust (https://readthedocs.org/, DuckDuckGo, etc) or sites where the advertising is directly connected to my existing purpose (to buy a thing) such as Amazon, eBay, Humble Bundle, etc. Everywhere else gets the block because they simply can't be trusted anymore.

For Excel it's much easier to convert your raw data to CSV than to put it into an HTML document and then extract it back out again. Similarly for .docx format, you're probably better off using a package like docx and building the document in a way more suited to the file format than trying to smush HTML into a new format.

Our main docs are built with Hugo (https://github.com/mitmproxy/mitmproxy/tree/main/docs). For our API docs we use pdoc (https://pdoc.dev), which integrates well with most static site generators. pdoc is also maintained by us. :)

Actually in my opinion, installing ubuntu on a chromebook isnt recommended.i guess htats because of their different architecture or something like that. try using an os thats made specifically for chromebooks like Gallium os

There is no need to obtain an API key or token for querying NPM registry API. For the dashboard, I use only the endpoint that provides the data about a package downloads count - https://api.npmjs.org/downloads/. You can read more about it here.
The ^ macro actually annotates metadata onto the value that read, rather than the resulting runtime value. This is mentioned in the last paragraph on the metadata page, and there's some more explanation in this Github issue.
