Im a 10th grader joining a scriptwriting competition
It's been a while since I used it but I believe Trelby is still free, reliable, and easy to use if you want to practice. Script formatting can seem strange but it's pretty simple once you've got the basics. Most of all, know that you're already far ahead of a lot of other writers by being willing to put yourself out there. Enjoy it, learn from it, and don't worry too much about the outcome because the process is the valuable part.

Has anyone ever managed to install Trelby on Linux in a Chromebook
Trelby (https://www.trelby.org/), a screenwriting app, does offer a deb file for install, but when I try to install with it I get an error message regarding Python (see screenshot). I am not very skilled in Linux (to put it mildly) but I have managed to install and update other stuff without so much trouble. Not the case here. Can anyone help me?

I use Trelby, it’s barebones but free. but if you’re a coder, you may want to look into Fountain, a markup language for screenplays. .

I wrote this Blake's 7 fanfic. Is it any good?
Yeah, It's pretty good! It's very short but I'd be interested in seeing where it goes after Jenna. I would caution you about spelling errors and grammar errors though. Run your script through Google docs or write it in one of the other free editors before you send it out. If you like writing screenplays, I'd suggest Trelby (it's free). This felt like a bunch of dialogue and I wasn't really sure what parts were and weren't. So maybe if you put it in screenplay format it would feel more like the show.

Pursing screen writing
Get screenwriting software. Otherwise, formatting will be a nightmare. I like Trelby (free, open source, and easy to use for Windows/Linux OSs.)

What do you use?
Trelby or Kit Scenarist are better options. If you really need cloud storage, then you can just use google drive or any of the other free cloud storage programs.
