Selecting PDF Text -- Any Hack?
I am not aware of such a hack. Currently you can convert a pdf page to an editable rM notebook page using my java program drawj2d. But you'd run it on your computer and upload the notebook afterwards. Drawj2d could be run on the rM tablet (it just needs an JRE for arm) but it is not of much use until we find a way to trigger a conversion. An approach (similar to skius/rm-pdf-tools) would be to have a folder (e.g. "Pdf2rm-Input") on the device and whenever you copy a pdf into it, the conversion starts. Maybe a linux specialist reading here knows how to detect a new file in the directory...

On other computer: Otherwise, you could have the tablet connected to the cloud and use a computer to listen for changes on the files, similar to skius/rm-pdf-tools
