It's not blackjack, but I made a risk game in python awhile back that simulates a deck of territory cards being drawn from it. Maybe it will give you some ideas.

Also, the Prompts class in my little risk hobby project has a ton of examples on handling user input. The project even has examples on how to unit test code that has input calls.
Tic Tac Toe Game - having trouble displaying the turn the computer takes on the board... any suggestions?

Your computer_turn function returns an int object but you don't do anything with it. I presume you want to use that value to update a specific index in the board list before you call the display_board function again. Here is a suggestion, forget about the computer player until you have built a working game that takes inputs from two human players. After you have that, you can implement a computer player. This was how i made my risk game, built it for human players first then updated to support bot players.
