- Why didn't they give quake 2 the same treatment as quake 1 like they didn't give quake 2/quake 2 64 a remaster for consoles too why?.

The only add on shown in the switch release of Quake remastered is the Quake 64 add on, should there be more?
Officially, not yet. But unofficially, if you're on a pc, you can set another server and get a list with more mods (q1mods.xyz)

Just added Paintball to q1mods, also added map lists for Fortress, Rally, Kickflip, AirQuake and Slide so you can play online!
