Looking for a way to program a button of a lost remote.
I ended up using a combination of IRScrutinizer (http://www.harctoolbox.org/IrScrutinizer.html) , Python-Broadlink library (https://github.com/mjg59/python-broadlink) and IRDB (https://github.com/probonopd/irdb).

Is this flashable? Ordered some smart blubs with this chip inside, is it esp based? Tuya convert can't see it.
I'm wondering if it works with this https://github.com/mjg59/python-broadlink

Trouble getting Broadlink RM4 Pro to consistently work - any tips?
Though I did notice that the "Broadlink Manager" app that some people use to get codes in bulk/more quickly wasn't working for this reason. It's a .net app so I decompiled it and added in the support for the new device, but I was receiving unexpected messages from the RM4 upon connection. It looks like the protocol changed in some way that I don't fully understand, where the header is expecting different data. I tried shoehorning that in but it didn't stop the unrecognized messages being broadcast from the broadlink, and unfortunately I don't know enough about the protocol to interpret them so I left it alone: the only things I know about it I gleaned from looking at changelists in the https://github.com/mjg59/python-broadlink library upon which the .NET version was based, in changelists that looked useful... but I think I've hit a wall there unless I take the time to actually learn more about the protocol itself and what its expecting/what these messages mean. But I digress!
