I am also currently experimenting with one-handed chording layouts using the left side of a Ferris Sweep and a KB2040 board, which gives me 17 keys to play with. I've currently implemented Artsey except for mouse and media keys (soon for those), and am currently working on an analyzer so I can optimize a layout using most/all of the keys.
