Directories on NFS mounted storage reappear after deletion
I've recently upgraded my storage to a Synology NAS and am getting backups configured for all of the important things. I create an NFS mount under Datacenter - Storage and used the Proxmox configuration backup script to backup my configuration, but then decided I wanted to back up more things to the same location and moved everything to a sub folder in that NFS share. That all went fine, the problem that I have now is that all of the directories that originally got created on the NFS share keep returning after deletion. I removed the storage configuration from Proxmox and deleted the directories on the NAS, and they stayed deleted. As soon as I recreated the storage in Proxmox, however, the directories came back. This leads me to believe that there is something on the Proxmox side that is preventing deletion of these directories (or undeleting them), but I can't for the life of me figure out what it would be. Any tips on where should I start in troubleshooting this?

Broken Apparmor
Ive tried numerous things to fix, none work, and i rolled back all changes made but this still didnt fix it. I decided to restore the host from a previous backup ( DerDanilo/proxmox-stuff: This is a collection of stuff that I wrote for Proxmox. (github.com) before the changes, but the issues still persists.

How do you backup your Proxmox host (PVE?) itself?
Like many have said, it's probably better to just reinstall and resetup from scratch then bother backing up. However, i've been using this guys scripts as i wanted to keep it local and are not running PBS.
