GPU and Mistral support in languagemodels package on Colab free tier
The languagemodels Python package has had some recent updates. If you aren't familiar, this is a package to make using LLMs as simple as possible in Python for folks who don't have deep programming experience, particularly in education and personal exploration. Here's an example Colab notebook summarizing a number of documents.

Run ChatGPT-like LLMs on your laptop in 3 lines of code
This looks great! I appreciate having more options to easily run these models locally.
I've been working on something similar:
https://github.com/jncraton/languagemodels
The target audience is a bit different, as my personal use-case for this is allowing students to work with these models in introductory CS courses, but many of the design goals appear to be similar.
I like how you completely hide the complexity of the vector DB behind `ingest`. It looks like you've made it very easy to build local RAG apps.

LLMs on a 32-bit device with 2GB of RAM
Try small quantized models. LaMini or a small FLAN-T5 should work. There's a python package for exactly this, actually: https://github.com/jncraton/languagemodels
