Use SQLAlchemy with and without Flask
The only source I can show you is an older version, which does not have any kind of auth and breaks many other best practices. Now I'm essentially rebuilding it in a different repo. https://github.com/eccentricOrange/jee-prac

How can I contribute as a not-expert-developer and make sure that I'm not giving bad/garbage advice?
That's something I'm already doing. Web-dev has some great tools that I felt a need for with my robotics/mechatronics projects, so I've dedicated some time to learning it. In fact, I'm already running a little project that I find very useful in my studies completely on a Raspberry Pi. I am working migrate this to either Firebase (if I decide to use Google) or Supabase (if I self-host, since this project started with providing users full access to their testing data with or without a internet connection) and improving a ton of rookie JavaScript and Flask code, though.
