Diorisis Search 3.1 and Diorisis Corpus 1.5
From now on, I will only update the JSON version of the corpus and, in a way, depart from the digital edition/digital library paradigm. My aim is to make sure that the Corpus is a dynamic object that may be constantly revised and updated (in part or in full) based on user feedback, and that updates should be easy to distribute. As to the format, I find JSON far more efficient than (TEI) XML from the point of view of integration and performance with modern high-level programming languages. Researchers who have been using the Diorisis Corpus outside Diorisis Search may want to switch to the JSON version and use the script I've published at https://github.com/alevatri/diorisisupdater to keep the corpus up-to-date.
