- New home grown MUD looking for testers and coders
- From a player's perspective, what do you mean that a game is an LPMud?

Does Anyone Know What Happened To MUSHCode.com?
I have no idea but this is a reason why people should publish their code in the public. github and gitlab are two popular variants; Felix, for instance, maintains the LPC/DGD engine here: https://github.com/dworkin/dgd which I think is good. And he still applies patches etc... - dude must be not the youngest anymore now.

LPMud 3.12 driver with a generic 2.4.5 lib on modern Ubuntu?
Is that distinct to https://github.com/dworkin/dgd? Felix still maintains the latter. I don't quite recall the original LPC dialect. My idea for a MUD was originally based on LP-like, first based on ruby but then as a second step on a DSL that is super-simple and can be used by anyone via a browser interface. The only thing I would have kept from LPC is the object-centric focus (not syntax-wise though, LPC is too verbose and has unnecessary syntax).

Needing Help starting a mud.
It may also depend a lot on the code base style in use. I have no idea about DIKU-variants, but LPC/DGD should not be too difficult to get started, e. g. Felix has instructions on that all over https://github.com/dworkin/dgd.
