  • Need advice on choosing OS/base for NAS/home server
First I will point you toward this project: https://github.com/davestephens/ansible-nas Which uses ansible to define and manage your docker containers. There's initially no GUI (this is actually a good thing!) but you could probably install Ubuntu with a GUI if you need it before setting up your drives or whatever. After you have configured everything to your liking you can end up with a webui for docker (portainer) and a dashboard linking to the webui for all of your services (radarr, traefik, etc.)
  • I am slowly going crazy trying to figure out why I can't install plugins. Every time I try I get 50% of the the way then am thrown this error and I have to his the shell to delete the jail. Any ideas? This is for TrueNAS, so might be in the wrong spot to post this.
