If you want a certain look/feel/etc. check civitai.com for embedings, hipernetworks, etc. Those are small files that can significantly alter your output, if used correctly.
It looks like artifacts that are common when one try to diffuse at a to large resolution. You said in some answers there that you used your own pictures in img2img: did you resize them before? Is best if at least one side is 512px (you can upscale later). Also, you said that you used the base model. The base model is great and stuff, but being generic, it requires good prompting knowledge. I would recommend to download a fine-tuned model from civitai.com.

for more models you can download safetenssors or .ckpt files from civitai.com. place new models in ./Data\models\ before converting. (for eg. "D:\StableDiffusion-GUI\SDG-1.9.1\Data\models")

Has anyone here experience with self hosting text-to-image projects like OpenJourney or similar?
You can selfhost Stable diffusion quite easily. It's easiest to do with Nvidia GPUs but there is at least some support for doing it on AMD GPUs with ROCM or Mac M1.
