Remember The Website Obesity Crisis [1] article from 2015, since then [2] things only got worse, and it is been almost 10 years already (at the end of 2024).

Is it foolish to say that in 10 more years you wont be able to navigate the web on a circa 2015 PC ? If nothing changes seems like it.

My old macbook from 2013 with latest Firefox is already can not handle loading https://civitai.com web page with 23.98 MB of JavaScript, it is just hangs for half a minute while trying to render this disaster of web frontend.

all the samples images on models at https://civitai.com/ have prompts included. I used to have a bunch of sites that list prompts bookmarked, but I lost all my bookmarks recently :(

https://civitai.com/ most people grab models here these days I think. At least I do. And yeah, make sure to put checkpoints in the model folder, and lora in the lora folder, and hit the refresh button and it should show up.

Go to civitai.com, look for images that look realistic, study their prompts and the models used to generate them.

Tons of models to pick from on Civitai. I have a bunch downloaded for making NPCs for DnD.

I am using Stable.Art and A1111 to integrate Stable Diffusion into Photoshop, I have followed the guides to the best of my abilities, modified the BAT file

depends on what you are trying to to do, if it's just some light inpainting and img2img I personally use this plugin: https://github.com/isekaidev/stable.art

I'd recommend Stable.art, more intuitive/simple UI but you still get to choose models/VAE's since it connects with what WebUI loaded.

Looks like stable.art to me, similar menus at least. Maybe look into that?

It was unique a great tool when It first came out. But Now I use OpenOutpaint extension for A1111 - https://github.com/zero01101/openOutpaint/wiki/Manual It a bit less comfortable to use, bit I can use it in A1111 and it's a plus. I also tried the StableART extension for Photohop - https://github.com/isekaidev/stable.art , I like the forkflow cuz it's in Photoshop and I am used to it interface and tools, it even forced me to upgrade my PS to latest one, but somewhy it generates worse quality images that A1111 and openOutpaint, and it has only basic A1111 functions. But I used it only for couple days, need to comapre more. :-)

But if you really hate CC, try stable-art, get the .ccx and install it manually by extracting it in PS plug-in folder.
