Trying to install on a Atom Baytrail 32bit UEFI laptop after installation I can't boot

Trynna find a distro that has 32bit UEFI support on a 64bit os.
I've gotten 64-bit Debian-based distros to boot on a Lenovo IdeaCentre Stick 300 with a 32-bit UEFI by downloading bootia32.efi and placing it in /EFI/Boot (you'll have to make those directories) on my USB flash drive.

64-bit install up and running on 32-bit EFI Mac mini
Yeah these old Intel Mac minis (and some of the plastic Macbooks) have a 32bit EFI, while the CPU supports 64bit OS. You will need to add a bootia32.efi to the /efi/boot/ directory on your Ubuntu USB.

Trying to install Arch on an old 64-bit device with a 32-bit UEFI and the keyboard doesn't work
So I put the bootia32.efi from this repository instead. However, using this file drops me into the GRUB shell rather than the selection menu. To fix that I put a grub.cfg file in /boot/grub/ on the ISO with the contents as described here.

What can I do with my old computer?
The trick is to add bootia32.efi on your installation medium (your USB installation drive key) so it can boot in 32 bit mode. From there do your Linux OS installation and after that do not forget to install grub-efi-ia32-bin so your 64 bit OS can boot with a 32 bit bootloader. Here is a guide that needs some tinkering: https://ritiek.github.io/posts/2020/04/blog-post-15/install-modern-os-on-unsupported-hardware
