My question is as I have over 100 of these. I really don’t want to make them manually. Has anyone had any experience with this and can point me in the right direction. Edit: I did find this but would like to know if it has the same limitations as the cloning. https://github.com/meraki/automation-scripts/blob/master/clone_port_configs.py
  • Back up L3 interfaces and static routes

Looking to back up and restore all of our Layer 3 interfaces and static routes. I used the scripts found on https://github.com/meraki/automation-scripts and https://www.ifm.net.nz/cookbooks/meraki-backup.html but unfortunately they are not able to grab the aforementioned items. Is this a limitation of the Meraki API?
  • How to run a script inside another with variables grabbed by the 1st script.

I ma trying to utilize this script https://github.com/meraki/automation-scripts/blob/master/mx_firewall_control/mxfirewallcontrol.py inside another that i am making. I know i can import the script and call it the script by using mxfirewallcontrol.main() but i am really confused on how to pass arguments to it.

I've typically just used Meraki's automation-scripts. Works well and you can stage it somewhere and execute it via Cron or something.
  • Interface Stats on MX devices?

Current thought is SNMP queries on a scheduled basis to a database then aggregate the stats, much like the usagestats.py in git hub here https://github.com/meraki/automation-scripts
