What device do i get?
I have the RG351p with ArkOS. Amazing handheld but n64 and Dreamcast don't run at 100%. everything other than that, its just perfect. You can check all the emulators available here: https://github.com/christianhaitian/arkos/wiki/ArkOS-Emulators-and-Ports-information (also, you have some ports for this device...no need to emulate them like Quake, DOOM, Mario 64 and many more)

Arkoa for rg351v
Notes - For NDS (Drastic emulator) - Do not try to remap the stylus up, down, left and right buttons. Doing so will cause the stylus movement to be erratic or not function at all. - Hotkey information: https://github.com/christianhaitian/arkos/wiki/Frequently-Asked-Questions---RG351V#q-what-are-the-global-event-keys-and-emulator-event-keys-in-ArkOS - See this FAQ link for information on how to make use of the slot 2 for your games and roms. https://github.com/christianhaitian/arkos/wiki/Frequently-Asked-Questions---RG351V#q-how-do-i-make-use-of-the-second-sd-slot-for-roms-and-games

Just got this device, so exicted BUT Arkos didn't work for me...
Can confirm. Per this announcement, support for RG351 devices is being dropped soon. Issues with design decisions like their controller hardware making them a pain to develop for? I do not fully understand the particulars, not being a developer. But being a RG351 owner, I’ll be sad to see ArkOS go. Even though I currently use 351ELEC, having more OS alternatives going forward could only have inspired further innovation among the rest.

ArkOS announces end of support for 351 devices
Unfortunately, there are no sources available for building this from source since it's based on Ubuntu. The base ubuntu 19.10 image came from here: https://wiki.odroid.com/odroid_go_advance/os_image/ubuntu_es#v11. the mali gpu driver from https://oph.mdrjr.net/meveric/pool/go2/libm/libmali-rk/libmali-rk-bifrost-g31-rxp0-wayland-gbm_1.7-2+deb10_arm64.deb the sdl2 package from https://www.areascout.at/libsdl2-2.0-0_2.0.10+dfsg1-1ubuntu1_arm64.deb the kernel from https://github.com/lualiliu/RG351P-linux The rest I add via scripted updates from here: https://github.com/christianhaitian/arkos/blob/main/Update-RG351P.sh Sources I modified myself I've been making them available here: https://github.com/christianhaitian but I still have more to add.

RetroArch all the things!
I don't own the device myself, but the arkOS GitHub page has a section on it so it looks like it's supported like the RG351P.

Don't sleep on PICO-8
I haven't used ArkOS, but this is likely to help: https://github.com/christianhaitian/arkos/wiki/ArkOS-Emulators-and-Ports-information#pico-8
