The WHID (Wireless Human Interface Device) attacks that I was talking about are a little different. Basically you take a rubber ducky or digispark and add a wifi, bluetooth, gsm chip to it. Once you plug the device in you can select a payload for the HID device from a paired phone or computer. The victim's computer still recognizes the device as a keyboard or mouse but the USB can communicate with the attacker over wifi via private network and web portal, bluetooth, Rf, or cellular connection (think of it like being a DIY wireless keyboard and mouse). This allows the attacker to complete multiple exploits where with a Rubber Ducky you just get the one preloaded. Though the bashbunny will carry more exploits and a demon seed cable allows a similar freedom (The demon seed cable was actually built off of a NSA project). With a Rubber Ducky if the victim machine has a new patch then assumed and the attack doesn't work you either have to just walk away or pull the Ducky replace the sd card with another payload and try again, with the WHID attack you can switch to a new attack almost seamlessly without having to arouse suspicion.
