  • Looking for LE behavior file
    1 project | /r/skyrimmods | 17 Apr 2023
I can't use Skyrim Behavior Editor because I first need the original behavior files to convert over to SSE ( using havokpostprocessor.exe ). I don't have non-SSE files... are they just a public resource or would I really need another copy of Skyrim?
  • Combat Showcase - Verolevi, ADXP/MCO, Combat Path Revolution, VAE2

The only person who managed to figure this out is a guy named Zartar who created Zartar's Behavior Editor. His work goes into that .hkx file and maps out how all these animations and actions flow into an XML format that you can then view in that program. He's no longer working on it but that work alone allowed for stuff like Skysa and all the other stuff.
  • (Mod Release) Read the Room - Immersive and Animated Helmet Management

Could this help? He's made a video tutorial here as well. Seems awfully complicated. You could also try asking the author of animated whistling for help.
  • [WIP/Preview] Did someone ask for climbable ladders? - Animated Traversal update
    1 project | /r/skyrimmods | 29 May 2022
LE/XBOX compatibility is technically possible, but there are some issues toolset-wise, due to some odd missing 'link' when creating furniture animations using Skyrim Behaviour Editor. i tried!!! i really did!! i'm sorry 😭 if you're nutty with C++ take a look lmao
  • Behavior Modding?
    1 project | /r/skyrimmods | 6 Jan 2022
What tools are out there for behavior modding? I've heard of Skyrim Behavior Editor, but it requires Oldrim, and besides that, there's some tool by tktk out there, but Idk what it is.
  • Perks, stances &weapon types, is this mod feasable ?
    1 project | /r/Skyrimguild | 24 Nov 2021
In order to create an invicibility frame, I could use IFrame generator, that let me insert an Iframe by editing the animation behavior file with Skyrim-Behavior-Editor.
  • Casting a Spell while holding a bow
    1 project | /r/skyrimmods | 8 Oct 2021
I'd love to have a mod that allows for casting all spells while holding a bow/crossbow, including concentration ones, with all their animations and casting times intact. I've requested this several times and tried multiple attempts at either scripting or editing behaviour files myself, but there seems to be very little documentation/information on it. The best I could find was this editor and this video but I was unable to find the correct things to edit, let alone make it compatible with things like Nemesis and other animation mods.
  • How to modify Nemesis files/make my own patches
    1 project | /r/skyrimmods | 1 Sep 2021
I'm in the same boat right now. I think you would use Zartar's behavior tool to do what you're talking about: (https://github.com/BrannigansLaw/Skyrim-Behavior-Editor-/releases/tag/0.99.4) but I have no idea how to use it yet.
  • Behavior Files
    1 project | /r/skyrimmods | 10 Jun 2021
I no longer want to learn more about behavior files at the moment, just figured id post what ive gathered while trying to make it easier for others. This tool is pretty handy, but you have to convert the files to SE afterwards. Here is a video of what I think is the author showing some stuff. I also saw Distar messing around with it shortly in one of his videos.
