Am using this https://github.com/OneMoreGres/ScreenTranslator it lets you screencapture an area on screen and after a seccond it shows on sceen the captured area, the detected text and the result. It comes really handy since you dont have to copy, alt tab and paste the screenshot to see the translation. Plus it has some configuration on which service it uses to translate the langue etc.

Heaven Burns Red Beta emails have been sent out!
Awesome! Some clowns here say that anyone cant download it yet lmao. Regarding the screen capture translator I'm using this https://sourceforge.net/projects/screen-translator/. The instructions are in the authors github page which is here https://github.com/OneMoreGres/ScreenTranslator. It works but its not perfect. Here's an example of the translation. https://imgur.com/a/LBRPcpJ I have my phone in scrcpy to my pc from there I translate it.

[Tsukihime] A difference of 20 years
I haven't tested the one linked by OP, but I've used OneMoreGres' ScreenTranslator since that's the best one working on Linux. I used it on KoiChoco PSP and accuracy is around 85% with the main issue only adding too a whitespace after each characters (I opened a whitespace remover on browser to get rid of it).

Reading Visual Novels in Japanese - Help & Discussion Thread - May 15
...currently reading KoiChoco PSP, with the help of ScreenTranslator. I think that's the best OCR translator for Linux, since I don't know how to get gazou working.

Good free visual novels?
+1, also there are ~1000 mods (in Steam Workshop), some of which are better than the original game. (mod = alternative story or route). BUT most mods are in Russian, only a few are translated (https://github.com/OneMoreGres/ScreenTranslator can probably help here). The only mod I've played is https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=451835368 (Miku route, no choices, 14 hours, many say it's one of the best mods) and it was very-very good, better than any route in the original. Also there is a fans' sequel ( https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=508932099 ) being developed for 5+ years (I haven't tried it).
