    My only concern with Fusion 360 is the licensing. I'm aware of the "For personal, hobby use" and I agree that $516 CAD per year is not that much if I do end up using it commercially, especially since subscriptions like that are all opex. But I found Blender was good and flexible enough, especially with addons like the Precision Drawing Tools. You should give it a try :)

    The PDT add-on might be useful for modeling a rather simple object like the one OP shows, but things get complicated very quickly even for medium sized mechanical assemblies. In the long-run however, re-topologisation is necessary in most cases anyway.
