  Regarding rooted android, it is possible to bypass root-checks of most banking apps:

  - 1. use MagiskSU

  - 2. add some modules to bypass SafetyNet/PlayIntegrity (https://github.com/chiteroman/PlayIntegrityFix/releases)

  - 3. For especially annoying apps add some modules to hide well-known "root apps" from the applist, so these apps don't know they're installed (https://github.com/LSPosed/LSPosed.github.io/releases + https://github.com/Dr-TSNG/Hide-My-Applist/releases)

  My local banking apps and even google wallet work mostly fine with these workarounds. Though it breaks every few months, which is then usually fixed with a magisk+module update.

  Even with a Smartphone you will have a terrible experience if you do not use stock vendor software. On a custom rom one needs to install zygisk modules [0] to get around the play integrity madness (before that safetynet). As this still dies not rely in Hardware attestation it could works in emulators, too. What we need are court rouling against this ! Banks actually force us to give our data and sell souls to Google an Apple.

  I have found Play Integrity Fix [1] with playcurl [2] is reliable enough for passing Play Integrity in Wallet and other apps. My current issue is that Google RCS has its own integrity checks that are stricter than Play Integrity, and will silently stop handling RCS messages if it fails those checks. I currently have RCS disabled because it is too unreliable.

  You shouldn't loose any features. Consider using PlayIngegrityFix (https://github.com/chiteroman/PlayIntegrityFix) in Magisk. Pixelify GPhotos has a feature to only spoof in Google Photos, which makes sure you only have these advantages there.

  SafetyNet will be shut down in January 2024, from now on most apps already use PlayIntegrity. This is bypassable with this Magisk module (just flash it through the Magisk Manager) https://github.com/chiteroman/PlayIntegrityFix
