I wonder if the game state integration can be used to make +attack2 not do anything if your current weapon is a M4A1-S or USP. Something like https://github.com/patrikzudel/PatrikZeros-CSGO-Sound-Fix, but for silencer binds.

Yeah I agree, its horrible that nothing has been done about this for years. I recommend checking my fix, hope it helps you!
- I fixed the high-pitched flash sound! (VAC Safe link in the comments)
- I've coded a partial fix for the loud volume problem in CS:GO. It lowers the volume when you die. This allows you to still play at your normal volume but prevents useless sound exposure when you don't need it.
