How to get GTA SA on M1 Macbooks?
You can finally play it now! To make the experience better, use a tool called downgrader. I recommend this one: https://github.com/Zalexanninev15/Jetpack-Downgrader . Grab the latest release, launch it. It will ask you for game path (where SA is installed), you'll need to figure that out yourself. Then just click "2. Modifications" and pick whichever you'd want to have. Definitely pick "SilentPatch" and "Widescreen fix". Then click "3. Downgrade". It might ask you several things, you'll most likely want to answer Yes to all of them. In the end you should see green text telling you that everything worked. Now you can enjoy the game in all its beauty. M1 MBA runs it good at max res, frame limiter off and other settings maxed out. Not even hot.
