For the specific case of IVs being missing/wrong, does recovering a Pokemon from the E4 record data also you give their PID? If so, OP could input the PID into this app to get the possible IV spreads. They could also filter by ability, nature and other bits of data they remember about their Pokemon to make sure they get the most likely spread for their recovered Milotic.
