Super Gameboy 2 At Home (With Link Port)
It's GB Corp, one of the mechanics of the game is that you earn money from different workers when playing on all the different Gameboys. If you link two copies, it activates both types simultaneously.

I made a new Game Boy game that rewards people who own several consoles at home
Hi everyone!
For the GB compo 21, I made a new Game Boy game titled "GB Corp." It's an idle / incremental game: you hire different GB models and put them to work. But there is a catch: each console you hire will only generate money if you run the game cartridge on the actual console model it represents.
The game goes as far as rewarding you when you switch the cartridge between various console models: the Original GB, the GBC, the GB Pocket, and the Super Game Boy!
The game is free and open source, and can be downloaded from here: https://drludos.itch.io/gb-corp
If you still have one or more Game Boy lying around at home, I hope you'll enjoy it! (you can play it on emulator too of course)

I made a new GB game that (finally!) rewards people who own more than one Game Boy model at home!
But you can also play it on an emulator like BGB (https://bgb.bircd.org/) that allow you to configure which GB model you are playing with (GBC, GB Pocket, DMG, etc.). So instead of unplugging and plugging an actual, you'll simply have to modify the emulator settings and reset the emulator to "switch" from one GB to another (more details about this on the game webpage: https://drludos.itch.io/gb-corp)

As the game is open-source, you can read the "hardware detection" code here, at line 917: https://github.com/drludos/GBcorp/blob/main/gbcorp.c
