My reader from my (very) old ez-card is an unknown device in my computer.
Sadly the GBXCart RW and it's software currently doesn't support the EZ Flash II otherwise that would be a much better solution.
- Hi everyone! I found and bought this lot, two kits for backing up GBA cartridges. They date back to 2003! Have any of you ever used them recently? Is it possible (or is it worth it) to bring them back to life?

FlashGBX write error?
Looking at the source code, specifically line 3461 of hw_GBxCartRW.py (the traceback line mentioned in your error message), it looks like it deals with the outputting of an error message saying the flasher was disconnected:

GBXcart problems
Hi, I am having some trouble and I thought this may be a good place to ask I bought a GBXCart RW so I could play some rom hacked pokemon games on my game boy advanced. I am having a time setting it up on my computer. I downloaded both the 86 and 64 files from here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53840. Then I downloaded all 4 of the files from this link https://github.com/lesserkuma/FlashGBX/releases/tag/3.22. I tried to go into device manager and update the drivers but it said they were updated already and it did not seem to find anything else. I also download everything under software. What am I doing wrong?

How to backup my physical GBC cartridges?
- If you got that impression from looking at the Github... I don't blame you. Github is... a confusing mess for anyone who doesn't use it often. They really should make it easier for the average layman who has never been to the site before to just be able to download the released software rather then accidentally downloading the source code. You don't click on the big green "code" button with the "download zip" option. You gotta go to the releases page.
