I wanted to know how many tress and what size I had on my 10 acres. I made a TLS and scanned it
The above video shows the results of the FSCT segmentation of a section of the 10 acre plot. Individual trees are marked with text next to them which shows tree number and diameter at breast height. FSCT generates a csv file showing a table of all the trees in the stand. A plot image is also generated showing the contours and tree locations. This section of the plot is 7 acres contains 286 trees ranging from 2.5" to 25" DBH All done with free software. FSCT: https://github.com/SKrisanski/FSCT
