  • Hey all I am new. I have a tiny go 4K and I am going to upgrade my quad. I want to freestyle and I am wondering what receiver do I get. People say elrs but that is long range and I don’t really going to go long range but I want decent range to go far away and still have connection.

  • Best radio link for long range and low latency?

ExpressLRS has been flown 40km on only 10mW at 900MHz and 35km on 100mW at 2.4GHz without failsafe. It also has the fastest packet rate and lowest latency.

Radiomaster TX16s is great radio and can connect to a number of different models. If you want a high performance rc link then I highly recommend ExpressLRS. The performance is insane and you are not getting gouged for the price of receivers, only $13 instead of $30 for tracer and it outperforms Tracer in range and latency(response time).

What radio and reciever do you have? Looks like its time to upgrade to ExpressLRS. It's actually quite afforadable. Transmitter module and receiver run you about $40 for the 2.4GHz version. You can look at the incredible performance of it here.
