Is it possible to set up a virtual Router?
Are you wanting a router, or a firewall/gateway? For some reason, these are confused all the time. While lots of firewall/gateways will route, you may have to turn a lot of things off to make them clean. (Like NAT) The only FOSS pure router project I know that is still standing is the BSD Router Project. https://bsdrp.net/
