Avidemux 2.5.4 all files loaded just show a green screen, any fix?

imo the best alternative to avidemux is ffmpeg + command line scripts you can find on github (I would suggest using moshy). In the README tutorial they suggest using avidemux but it's only to trim the video and get the frame numbers and types, both of which can be done using ffmpeg instead.
