  • homebridge

    HomeKit support for the impatient.

  • Is there a difference between lock status in HomeKit vs the August app? IOW when it shows offline or unresponsive in HK, does it still work in the August app, or no? If so, and especially if you already have a homebridge setup, you might try using the homebridge-august plugin (which is written by the homebridge dev) and pull your locks into HK through the back door, as it were. This little workaround gives HK the same reliability as the August app, plus it allows you to use any August lock, not just the HomeKit-enabled models.

  • homebridge-august

The Homebridge August plugin allows you to access your August/Yale Locks from HomeKit with Homebridge.
