  • enve

Flexible, user expandable 2D animation software for Linux and Windows.

  • I understand the program is there and you can use it. I make animations for games, for characters for now spine2D, but for effects drawn frame by frame, krita, opentoonz and enve2D (this is the one that convinced me the most for that purpose for its keyframes system, you can draw a line that redraw in each frame, and at the same time modify size, rot, position and shear). I see a future in Enve 2D for motion graphics, I have used it a little bit for some frame to frame effects. https://github.com/MaurycyLiebner/enve/network last updated on September 25 GLSL filters for enve 2D last update, 9hs ago (this makes me think that there are programmers who trust the program or already see it as a possible professional use). https://github.com/axiomgraph/enve-plugins My recommendation is to try both, and see, it is very common to use one program for one thing, and then re-import the result in another to improve it. As they say above with Natron you can do amazing things, although in character issues it is a bit weak.

  • enve-plugins

plugins for enve2d/friction for creating different effects.
