As for keys, we still don't have a pairing system so under the current engine it would probably look like "any player key can open any tdoor_playerlock*_l," which is useful from a gameplay perspective but wouldn't make sense for regular keys you might find in a zombie's pocket. It would be pretty strange if the player could use keys but there were none to be found in the outside world.
