I'm new to Reaper and DAWs in general. What do I need to do to start making music?

  • Sfizz. Supports SFZ format, which is the pretty popular among hobbyists.

  • Cardinal

    Virtual modular synthesizer plugin

  • Do check out Cardinal. That thing is fucking monster. I'd recommend going for the Lv2i version, because it's more stable & less resource-hungry than it's VSTi counterparts. If you're on Windows or MAcOS, Reaper has Lv2i support, regardless of OS(CLAP too - Reaper's cool like that).
