A customizable, yet sleek music player for Ubersicht

  • mgmt

Next generation distributed, event-driven, parallel config management!

  • If you're looking for a different project my cheap plug is to get involved with my project which is a good learning area, but is not a gui: https://github.com/purpleidea/mgmt/

  • InfluxDB

  • guiscrcpy

Discontinued A full fledged GUI integration for the award winning open-source android screen mirroring system -- scrcpy located on https://github.com/genymobile/scrcpy/ by @rom1v

  • About scrcpy, there is https://guiscrcpy.srevinsaju.me/, and I think its UI/UX could be improved through following basic GTK concepts rather than using those current colourful controls. Also, although it's the best option when dealing with scrcpy GUI, there aren't options on the GUI for most of the CLI commands.

  • ddcbc-gtk

A GTK Interface for controlling brightness through the DDC/CI protocol

  • If you're talking about external monitors, I have an gtk app that can control brightness via ddcutil. https://github.com/ahshabbir/ddcbc-gtk

  • localslackirc

IRC gateway for slack, running on localhost for one user

  • https://github.com/ltworf/localslackirc/ if you are interested.

  • gammastep

  • Like https://gitlab.com/chinstrap/gammastep ?

  • wee-slack

A WeeChat script for Slack.com. Supports threads and reactions, synchronizes read markers, provides typing notification, etc..

  • Personally, I've been using wee-slack for a while. It's not directly and IRC gateway, which means some of the more active Slack features like "X is typing" work. Also threads.

  • SaaSHub

SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews. SaaSHub helps you find the best software and product alternatives

  • Something like: https://github.com/tfeldmann/organize ?

  • metronome

Discontinued A simple metronome written in Python. [Moved to: https://github.com/satyam-bhardwaj/metrognome] (by satyam-bhardwaj)

  • I'm working on one in my spare time. Currently its just a python script. But you can change time signatures, tempo and do speed drills (gradually increasing bpm, my motivation for making this) https://github.com/satyam-bhardwaj/metronome

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
