  • I then came across similar issues on https://github.com/Esri/esri-leaflet/issues/738. I figured that I would need to either convert the FeatureServer to MapServer or find another solution that basically projects an image instead of the entire shapefile onto the leaflet map. Can anybody point me in the right direction here?

    Tools for editing Shapefile, GeoJSON, TopoJSON and CSV files

  • I have transformed the original shapefile in a geojson using https://mapshaper.org/. However, it seems that this transformation was not accurate as I have lines circling the globe as of now. See https://freeimage.host/i/H2Rt7Fp , when I load it in Python using the following code; I do however get an accurate representation:
