Use content/ad blockers. They don’t just block ads and trackers, but also other internet junk, like malware/phishing sites. uBlock Origin and AdGuard are too good ones. You can also use Brave or Bromite as your browser instead (they have that sort of blocking built-in and enabled by default). Combine that with NextDNS (it blocks stuff on the entire system — not just a specific browser).
