  • esp-box

The ESP-BOX is a new generation AIoT development platform released by Espressif Systems.

  • I recently purchased the esp32-s3-box from espressif. It’s really a dev board, so not a complete out-of-the-box solution, but I think it really has some potential. https://github.com/espressif/esp-box

  • AlexaPi

Discontinued Alexa client for all your devices! # No active development. PRs welcome # consider https://github.com/respeaker/avs instead

  • Does https://github.com/alexa-pi/AlexaPi still work? Or I guess you want non-amazon

  • rhasspy

Offline private voice assistant for many human languages

  • a bit steeper learning curve, but really powerful - homeassistant + rhasspy voice recognition. https://github.com/rhasspy/rhasspy

  • whisper-rhasspy-http

    Rhasspy Whisper integration

  • I also recommend Rhasspy if you're willing to put in the work to figure it out. Also worth noting it can be used Open AI whisper for speech to text, which from my testing has been almost perfect, it's just very slow without a GPU (https://github.com/seifane/whisper-rhasspy-http)

  • genie-server

The home server version of Almond

  • Well ofcourse you get error 500 you would have to run genie locally. Try hosting it yourself. https://github.com/stanford-oval/genie-server

  • selene-backend

Microservices and web apps to support Mycroft devices

  • You can install the Selene backend (https://github.com/mycroftai/selene-backend) and do everything locally if you wish.
