    I recently made a small nodejs script for fetching the newest proton ge if not already present, i.e the official instructions for installing manually for native Steam https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom#manual . Yeah, it's probably (a somewhat hairy perhaps) shell oneliner whereas my script is a lot longer than that. Anyway I just wanted to mention it without making it into an own thread; in case someone would find it useful, I wanted to try something involving github's api. https://github.com/Grammostola/newestGE
