  • obsidian-tikzjax

Render LaTeX and TikZ diagrams in your notes

  • In Obsidian you can even have Tikz diagrams by simply installing a plugin: https://github.com/artisticat1/obsidian-tikzjax

  • cdlatex

Fast input methods to enter LaTeX environments and math with GNU Emacs

  • You can use most of the functionality of that blog post inside of Org. Things like cdlatex even have a special org-cdlatex-mode in order to be as unintrusive as possible, and for fast previews there is org-auctex (from the same author as the above post). Certainly things like autoexpanding snippets and other goodies work without a problem in Org.

    Better latex previews for org-mode

  • org-roam

    Rudimentary Roam replica with Org-mode

  • For taking and organising maths notes, I also highly recommend org-roam; it's been a real game-changer for me. On that note, shameless plug for a blog post of mine about (among other things) my Emacs setup for this.
