  A simple, modern and secure encryption tool (and Go library) with small explicit keys, no config options, and UNIX-style composability.

PGP (or age, I would argue, which is superior, but fills the same space) is great for use cases precisely where you need to depend on carefully guarded long-lasting keys, like software keys and package management and things like that. But for social "hey here's that thing you wanted", I think it causes more dangers than it solves. Signal is great for stuff like that.
