spotify-downloader
Download your Spotify playlists and songs along with album art and metadata (from YouTube if a match is found).
Github repository link:https://github.com/rickyrorton/spotify-downloaderIf you are on a windows machine head over to the releases tab(https://github.com/rickyrorton/spotify-downloader/releases/tag/v1.7) and download the latest executable(no pre-requisites required except for ffmpeg which the program auto installs).Once you paste a playlist/song/album link and click on "Download songs" it requests the spotify api to send details of the song(s).Using these details it then accurately searches youtube music using the ISRC code which uniquely identifies songs and downloads them accordingly and converts and adds metadata and albumart to the song(s) downloaded. The songs downloaded in no way lack quality unless you select the 96k bitrate, it goes upto 320k bitrate in mp3,m4a,wav and flac formats. For those wondering if this is malware: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/62c49cf028afa169aa46dfcf17362090eb7f71f1e81ab1a23761b0a95deedf4eMajority of those 6 dectections are from vendors I've never even heard of,I am guessing this is probably because of the absence of a signing certificate(requires money) and the way pyinstaller(python library) packages the app into a executable. The source code is available in the repository if you would like to try compiling the code yourselves.Note:This only works on windows, linux and macos. It is NOT a mobile app(I would love to hear from anyone who is a mobile app developer and could give me some guidance on how to make this into a android app)

https://github.com/deepjyoti30/ytmdl did this first, and did it best, the rest of the projects doing it add precisely nothing.
I prefer (and recommend) https://github.com/spotDL/spotify-downloader
