Well, Armbian support this board so they have images available at https://www.armbian.com/orange-pi-lite/ that you can download and write to an SD card. If you want to try building something yourself you can look at Armbian’s build system at https://github.com/armbian/build 👍
The first thing you want to do is to get a JTAG adapter (I use ft2232h based board) and familiarize yourself with openocd. I have a tutorial on setting up openocd with ARM based chip. Then, you should get familiar with linker scripts.
