  1. litestar

Discontinued Light, Flexible and Extensible ASGI API framework | Effortlessly Build Performant APIs [Moved to: https://github.com/litestar-org/litestar]

First off, lemme start with the usual intro for those who don't know what im talking about: Starlite is an ASGI (async Python) API framework. It started out as an alternative to FastAPI - built on the same foundations: the Starlette ASGI Kit and pydantic. It evolved and has been intensely developed over the past year+ and is now a sophisticated and powerful API framework with a vibrant community and several (currently 4) maintainers.

  3. picologging

An optimized logging library for Python

We updated the logging support - Starlite now offers optimized logging using QueueListeners for stdlib and picologging, while also offering ready made configs for Structlog.

  4. pydantic-factories

Discontinued Simple and powerful mock data generation using pydantic or dataclasses

Last but not least, we moved pydantic-factories from my GitHub namespace (Goldziher) into the starlite-api GitHub organization, so its now an official package of the org.

  5. starlite-pg-redis-docker

Discontinued Example Litestar project using Postgresql, Redis and Docker [Moved to: https://github.com/litestar-org/litestar-pg-redis-docker]

Finally, we are in the process of completely reworking the example project repository, which is already updated to work with some of the latest additions such as the SQLAlchemyPlugin updates, so check that out too.
