  • The first one would be to use a different metadata Agent there NFO importer for TV-Shows and Movies. They will read the NFO files and add them to your Library item. AFAIK you can create those NFO files with TinyMediaManager This would give you total control over the metadata being added.

  • The last one would be to look into the Plex-meta-Manager Project. I only used it for Poster metadata but it can add those to Library items based on a "recipe" that you define and always change and execute to update your Plex Libraries. This would enable you to match something in plex but then override anything you want to change, but again, I only have used it for posters, I have not changed text metadata for that yet.
