Common Lisp language extensions wish list?

This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/Common_Lisp

Our great sponsors
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • cl-autowrap

    (c-include "file.h") => complete FFI wrapper

  • The closest thing to what you request, that I'm aware of, is cl-autowrap (to use C code from Lisp) but it is not standard in any way. CFFI is the de facto standard for using C from Lisp across different implementations.

  • sbcl-librarian

    Dynamic library delivery tools for SBCL.

  • The other direction, using Lisp from C, is trickier, see sbcl-librarian

  • WorkOS

    The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.
